BIOGRAPHY
DR. EMMANUEL IHEMEDU
Born and raised in Nigeria, I moved to Argentina shortly after my early seminary education to study Philosophy with the Marians of the Immaculate Conception. A year later I answered the call to serve the Church and moved to the US on the wings of my mentor, Anne bates. Once stateside, I continued my studies, earning five degrees (philosophy, theology, counseling); helped to grow MaryCare, Anne's international charity, organizing much-needed medical care to the underserved in Africa; became a parish priest where I honed my skills ministering to parishioners in their grief and trauma; and at present, also serve as Chaplain and Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling and Applied Behavioral Studies at the University of St. Joseph.

After providing family, relationship, and one-on-one counseling for nearly two decades as a minister, pastor and parish priest, I established Streams of Hope, with the desire to more fully devote myself to helping those in anguish attain the healing, love, peace and fulfillment they were born to enjoy.
