Refreshingly Comprehensive, Empathetic Care
What to expect.
Before Your First Appointment
After you contact us, we’ll send you a few brief forms and helpful details through our secure online portal. Completing these ahead of time helps us make the most of your first session.
Your First Session
Your first appointment is simply a place to begin. We’ll talk about what led you to seek therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you would like to feel different. You never need to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Therapy From Wherever You Are
Streams of Home Therapy provides virtual counseling to clients throughout Connecticut. Sessions are held through a secure, easy-to-use telehealth platform, allowing you to meet from a setting where you feel safe and at ease.
Moving forward together
As we continue, we’ll work together to identify meaningful goals, better understand your experiences, develop practical tools for managing symptoms, and create lasting change.
Our counselors are compassionate, patient, and collaborative. Your voice, needs, and goals will guide the direction of your care.
Feeling nervous about starting?
That is completely normal. Many people begin therapy feeling uncertain, hesitant, or overwhelmed. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Therapy starts with meeting you where you are—and when you’re ready, we’re here.

SESSIONS & SCHEDULING
All sessions are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth, available throughout Connecticut. Many of those who work with me find that the privacy of a session from their own home — without the commute, without the waiting room — allows them to settle more quickly into the work.
For some, therapy unfolds as a one-on-one conversation. For others, the Men's Group offers the additional gift of being witnessed by others walking similar ground.
